How We Met
We met the way everyone seems to be meeting these days—on a dating app! I (Louise) took him home to my family very quickly to bring as my date when my sister was being presented at The Ball of Roses, and they decided for me that I could never let him go.
Favorite Moment
One of our very best friends, Aaron Kronz, is an ordained minister and officiated our wedding. He made us all laugh and cry, and laugh some more. His words and blessing had everyone enthralled and allowed us to walk back down the aisle as husband and wife feeling immense love and support from everyone in the room.
Favorite Details
My grandmother is an artist and used to be a florist, so she assisted in the planning with Mary Donald for the florals, designed the cake with the Olexa’s (and even got there early to place the greenery on it herself) and brought in features like the light-up balloons to help give the day a modern touch. She truly outdid herself, and we feel so lucky to have such a talented grandmother that loves us like she does.
We also thought of only having our siblings as the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the idea just felt right. We both have felt so incredibly blessed to be gaining new brothers and sisters that we truly love and have become our best friends.
Another detail that was a non-negotiable for both of us was having my brother’s band, Moxie Hotel, play. Price is actually related to me, but all of those guys are my “brothers” and we knew that they would bring the crowd together better than anyone else. They played all of our favorite covers and made the reception so personal. They bring the most fantastic energy to a room, and it carried us all night long.
